We are fully qualified, insured and accredited with the Building Research Establishment. We are Energy Assessors ready to carry out the energy performance certification and required survey on your properties. Our approach is very simply to partner our clients and work together on meeting the new regulations and build strong lasting relationships.
Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) tell you how energy efficient a property is on a scale of A-G. The most efficient properties - which should have the lowest fuel bills - are in band A. The Certificate also explains on a scale of A-G, the impact the property has on the environment. Better-rated properties should have less impact through carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
The average property in the UK is in bands D-E for both ratings. The Certificate includes recommendations on ways to improve the property's energy efficiency to save money and help the environment.
A Commercial EPC is a document that needs to be in place prior to marketing a commercial property for sale or let. This has been introduced as part of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive 2007 to help reduce the carbon emissions from commercial buildings.
